Terms​ ​and​ ​Conditions​ ​for​ ​Mega​ ​Cash​ ​$2000 Christmas Giveaway

  1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. Entry into this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.
  2. The Promoter is Mega Cash Pty Ltd (ABN 55 058 876 510) of 147 Queen St, St Marys NSW 2760.
  3. Entry is open to residents of New South Wales aged 18 years or over only. Employees of the promoter and their immediate families, suppliers, associated companies and agencies are ineligible to enter. Persons under the age of 18 years are not considered adults and therefore are not able to enter. If a winner is discovered to be under 18, they will automatically be disqualified.
  4. Promotion commences on November 16, 2018 and closes at 5pm on December 16, 2018. The winner will be notified by phone on December 17, 2018 and must respond within 24 hours or the prize may be re-allocated. Relocation will be based on remaining competition entrants. The winner will also be announced via the Mega Cash facebook page.
  5. To enter, participants must either buy, sell or loan at one of our four stores (Emerton, St Marys, Doonside and Mount Druitt). Each time the do a transaction, they will receive a ticket to put in the competition barrel.
  6. There is a limit of one entry per person, per day. However, participants can enter multiple times across multiple days.
  7. Additionally or alternatively, participants can ‘like’ the Mega Cash Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/MegaCashpawnbrokers/) during the competition period to receive two additional entries. Those who have previously ‘liked’ the page will not be considered. Entrants can only enter using a Facebook profile under their own name.
  8. The tickets from each of the four shop’s barrels will be combined on December 1st at Mega Cash St Marys (147 Queen St, St Marys NSW 2760). The winner will be notified within 24 hours of the draw. Their name (and photograph if willing) will be published on Mega Cash social media pages.
  9. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  10. The winner must be able to collect the cash from one of our four stores within 14 days of being notified and with photo identification. The Promoter, Mega Cash, reserves the right to request proof of residency and identification for verification (to the Promoter’s satisfaction in its discretion) before issuing the prize.
  11. The prize of $2000 will be issued in cash and in person to the winner only. It is not transferable for any substitute non-cash prizes, or transferred to another person. It will not be given to anyone presenting on behalf of the winner.
  12. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify an entrant the promoter has reason to believe has submitted an entry not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
  13. The Promoter reserves the right to extend the competition timeframe without notice.
  14. The Promoter takes no responsibility for prize damage or lost in transit
  15. Prize winners are advised that tax implications may arise from their prize winning and may wish to seek independent financial advice prior to the acceptance of the prize
  16. The Promoter is not liable for any loss (including loss of opportunity) or damage (including, but not limited to, direct, indirect or inconsequential loss) or personal injury in relation to this competition.
  17. The laws of Australia apply to this promotion to the exclusion of any other law. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
